Summer Holiday Camp in Oxford
St Gregory the Great, Cricket Rd, Cowley, Oxford OX4 3DR
Tuesday 4th to Thursday 6th August 2020, 9.00am-3.30pm
3 Day SUMMER SCIENCE CAMP
To make the camp COVID-19 secure, we are limiting number of attendees to two groups of 15 and require children to attend all three days to keep the bubble consistent.
We will be keeping both groups separate and will need to stagger the times of the camp days a little to meet the venue requirements. Lunch times will also be staggered to allow cleaning of common surfaces between the groups. Once the holiday camp has started, the group allocations must remain the same for the duration of the 3 days.
GROUP A is 9.00am-3.30pm
GROUP B is 9.30am-4.00pm, 30 minutes later.
The themes for the day are likely to change order, to allow for the kits to be cleaned and rotated between groups.
£90 per child, for 3 day week (aged 5-11 years)
Children are to bring packed lunch with them.
All Holiday Camp Bookings will now be processed online
via Active Network.

COVID-19 Coronavirus Policy
By booking and sending your child to camp you are aware of the risks involved and agree to our terms and conditions.
This Covid-19 policy will temporarily supersede all previous policies and is a working document that will be updated in line with current government guidance or directives in response to the Coronavirus outbreak, as the UK government releases new information.
Unfortunately in the current circumstances we cannot provide sibling discounts as the number of children attending the camp is limited and has been significantly reduced.
As we are an activity provider offering specific tuition to help children improve their scientific skills, we are exempt from being Ofsted registered and are therefore unfortunately unable to accept childcare vouchers.
Holiday Science Camps
Bright Sparks Events science holiday activities are designed to entertain primary school aged children during the school holidays. We provide a safe environment for practical investigations, so children can come along and experiment for themselves, take part in our science challenges and investigate how things work. With some great WOW demonstrartions too, it’ll be an unforgettable experience!
WHAT WILL THEY DO DURING THE SCIENCE CAMP?
Discover the sticky properties of water, use your lab skills to make a bath bomb and play with surface tension to make giant bubbles.
Investigate super absorbing compounds, mixtures that can be both solids and liquids and make instant reactions to form long chains of polymers.
UP, UP AND AWAY
Explore the dynamics of flight and find out how air resistance plays an important part by launching rockets, paper planes and hot air balloons.
