Holiday Science Camps
Bright Sparks Events science holiday activities are designed to entertain primary school aged children during the school holidays. We provide a safe environment for practical investigations, so children can come along and experiment for themselves, take part in our science challenges and investigate how things work. With some great WOW demonstrartions too, it’ll be an unforgettable experience!
WHAT WILL THEY DO DURING THE SCIENCE CAMP?
Study the crime scene, uncover the suspects, analyse the evidence left behind! Try techniques used by forensic scientists to develop your abilities and help us solve the crime! Explore dactyloscopy and analyse your fingerprints, uncover your body’s own secret code, discover forensic anthropology & entomology by examining our bones and how useful insects are as decomposers.

What’s more fun than eating your food? Playing with your food! Our Kitchens are full of science so let’s explore the science behind cooking and discover some extraordinary, experimental secrets; mix up a fantastically fizzy concoction, find the clues that indicate a reaction, and use laboratory equipment to try these mad recipes, formulate your own drinkable potion and build edible structures!
Calling all budding environmentalists, we have an important mission for you. Can you think like a scientist and create something useful using only what we find in our bins? Invent a creative way to upcycle plastic waste into a product we can use in our homes and use your skills to turn trash into treasure.
Air is all around us, taking up space. We breathe it in and change the air pressure all the time, yet it always wants to be the same.
